Here is a couple pics of the unboxing of the Hangar9 - 88” Ki-43 Oscar.
As stated on Wikipedia, “The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa was a single-engine land-based tactical fighter used by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force in World War II.”
Hayabusa means Peregrine Falcon in the Japanese language.
My Oscar will be:
1. powered by a DLE61
2. operated using both digital and analog Hitec servos
3. controlled by a Spektrum 9 channel Tx/Rx
4. will utilize Ohio based company Sierra pneumatic retracts.
Just to clarify from Bruce’s warbird project email. I will be assembling this ARF after some nice people across the ocean did most of the work building the ARF. Bruce on-the-other-hand will be truly building his WWII warbird from a kit.
Big difference! :-)
